Curriculum Design
The curriculum is designed by Marco Fu, with the help from HKU Professor Baniel Cheung, together with Dr Helen Lockey, PhD (Education), who specialise in education and teaching throughout their professional career.
The curriculum has also been endorsed by Hong Kong Billiards Sports Control Council (HKBSCC) which is the only official organization in promoting and developing snooker sports in Hong Kong
Course Introduction
Basic: This is the foundation course for students who have no or
very little experience in snooker
Beginner to Advanced: Once students have learnt the basics, they
can move on to the learning journey from Beginner to Intermediate
then progressing to Advanced levels.
MSK will divide the kids into different age groups, e.g. 4-5, 6-8, etc.,
and according to their skill levels.
Certification
- The certification examination tests the ability and knowledge on what the students learn after each course up till the pink course.
- Advancing through the “three crowns” of the black course requires students to achieve certain ranking among MSK or participate in MSK-organized competitions.
- Printed certification will be provided after each successful level in recognition of the student’s ability and effort.
